On the day of arrival, your room will be available from 3 pm. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage in the hotel’s luggage storage area until you can check into your room. At the AHORN Hotel Am Fichtelberg, your room will not be available until 4 pm in January and February.
On the day of departure, we ask that you check out by 11 am.

A generous breakfast buffet is included in all our rates. If you book half-board, a varied evening buffet awaits you, featuring a selection of main courses, salads, vegetarian dishes and desserts. You can include half-board when you book, or arrange to add it on arrival at the hotel. Alternatively, the hotel’s à la carte restaurant is available.
During the day, you also have the option of having lunch with us.
Breakfast: 7am to 10.30am
Dinner: 5.30pm to 8.30pm

For hygiene reasons, we have designated specific rooms in our hotel where guests may stay with their dogs. As the number of rooms available for guests with dogs is limited, it is essential to declare your dog at the time of booking, and your stay with your dog is only possible following confirmation from the hotel. Unfortunately, other animals are not permitted.
Please note that if you register your dog after your booking has been confirmed, the hotel may still have to refuse your booking if the designated dog-friendly rooms are already fully booked.
- We charge from €20 per dog per night
- A maximum of 1 dog per room is permitted
- Dogs are permitted only in the à la carte restaurant, not in the half-board restaurant
- We charge a special cleaning fee of €100 if a dog is present without prior notification or if a second dog is in the room

In line with our sustainability policy, drivers of electric cars can look forward to charging points for electric vehicles at all AHORN Hotels & Resorts. Your car will charge up whilst you recharge your own batteries. Enjoy your holiday surrounded by nature or with our wide range of leisure activities. The service is provided by ENGIE Deutschland with its e-buddie charging points, one of Europe’s leading operators of charging solutions. Our charging points are powered by the hotel’s own combined heat and power plants. Charging cards from the following providers are accepted. Yes, most rates – such as flexible daily rates – can be booked easily without a credit card or a deposit. For non-refundable early-bird rates or peak season periods, you will need a credit card or PayPal.

We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We also offer PayPal as an online payment option. At the hotel, you can also pay in cash or by debit card.

For group bookings of 9 rooms or more, please use our contact form or call the relevant AHORN Hotel.

Your booking and all booking details are SSL-encrypted and secure – particularly your credit card details and other personal information. This is ensured via a secure HTTPS server.

It is not possible to reserve a parking space. All hotels have sufficient parking spaces available for a fee. Prices vary depending on the hotel, parking space and season, and can be found on the hotel pages.

- Children aged 5 and under stay free of charge in a room with 2 adults outside of school holidays
- Children aged 4 to 5 stay in a room with 2 adults during school holidays with a 70% discount
- Children aged 6 to 12 stay with a 50% discount in a room with 2 adults
- To claim the child discount, proof of the child’s age (health card, school ID card or similar) is required at check-in.

Depending on the package you have booked, your booking may be cancelled free of charge. You can find the relevant cancellation terms and conditions online during the booking process or in your written quote. Cancellations can only be accepted in writing.
Loyalty scheme

Guests who book directly and returning guests are rewarded through the AHORN Bonus Programme. For every night you stay, you’ll receive a stamp on your BonusCard, which you can collect from our reception. After 10 paid nights, you’ll receive your 11th night free of charge, including half-board, at your chosen AHORN hotel. Find out more here

- Book directly with the hotel via its website www.ahorn-hotels.de, by telephone or by email. Bookings made through tour operators or external online portals are not accepted.
- You can obtain the BonusCard on request at reception at any of the AHORN Hotels & Resorts.
- Don’t forget to have your stay stamped when you check out.
- Once the stamp card is full, you can exchange it for a free night’s stay with your next booking.
- During the booking process, please provide a brief note regarding the redemption of the free night.

Registrations and stamps for past stays will not be issued retrospectively and can only be issued on site for the stay in question.

Your loyalty will be rewarded even more! In addition to the stamps on your loyalty card, you’ll earn status stays for bookings made directly with us. After 5 stays, you’ll receive VIP status; after 15 stays, VIP Status 2; and after 30 stays, VIP Status 3 – and you can look forward to even more benefits. Find out more here
Important: Your status level is automatically recorded for direct bookings (not via tour operators, external internet portals or similar), is personal to you, non-transferable and cannot be edited retrospectively. We recommend that you always book under the same name so that we can reward your loyalty. You can find out your current VIP status at reception during your next stay.
